As we progressed a very prestigious two storey block was commenced to complete the children’s education to the age of 16 and also to incorporate a Clinic for the children.  This was completed in January 2015 and again opened with a big party! Later in 2015 the block was completed and furnished with locally made furniture.  This now takes the school capacity to approx. 1000 – from 4 years up to 16.

All classrooms are furnished with locally made desks and chairs and all have fans for the hot weather. From the very start the running of the school and educational decisions have been made by the Headmaster, the School Governors and the parents who comprise a kind of ‘PTA’. It was never our wish to interfere with the teaching or staffing of the school.

The pupils pay a small fee which goes to pay the teachers and essential running costs, but it will be some time before the school is totally self-supporting.
